TSDL: Teacher Student Data Link Project
Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and conducted by the Center for Educational
Leadership and Technology (CELT) with guidance and dissemination support from the Data Quality Campaign (DQC)

Data Verification Process

The Ohio Department of Education, ITCs, and LEAs want a data verification process that validates the data being transmitted is accurate before it is integrated with existing state/local data analysis system(s). This project will use the Battelle for Kids architecture and the functionality of the TSDL application as the base model (including establishing a teacher of record and taking into consideration factors such as percentage of time to accommodate team-teaching). An architecture, functional requirements, and implementation guide will be developed to integrate the "utilization” and "data” into local school district systems, ITCs, and/or a state data warehouse for local use. The school districts will be "proof of concept” sites for this project.
